Privacy Policy for Our Review Site

This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data. We operate an informational review website about betting sites not on GamStop. We do not hold a UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) licence.

Who We Are

We publish independent reviews and guides about offshore bookmakers. Our site is informational only. We are based in the UK and follow UK GDPR rules set by the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

Data We Collect

We collect data in three main ways. Each method is explained clearly below.

Cookies and Analytics

We use Google Analytics to measure site traffic and page performance. Google Analytics places cookies on your device to track anonymous usage data. You can opt out of Google Analytics via Google’s opt-out tool.

Contact Form Submissions

If you submit our contact form, we collect your name and email address. We use this data only to respond to your query. We do not add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent.

Affiliate Tracking Links

Our site contains affiliate links to offshore bookmakers not on GamStop. When you click an affiliate link, the bookmaker may place a tracking cookie on your device. This cookie tells the bookmaker you arrived via our site, so we may earn a commission.

What Affiliate Links Mean for Your Data

Clicking an affiliate link transfers you to a third-party bookmaker’s website. That bookmaker operates under its own privacy policy, not ours. We recommend you read each bookmaker’s privacy policy before registering.

Third-Party Data Sharing

We share limited data with two categories of third party. These are affiliate networks and Google Analytics. We do not sell your personal data to any other party.

  • Affiliate networks: These record clicks and conversions linked to our site. They receive anonymous tracking data only, not your name or email.
  • Google Analytics: Google receives anonymised usage data such as page views and session duration. No personally identifiable information is shared with Google via analytics.

Cookie Consent

When you first visit our site, a cookie consent banner appears. You can accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or manage your preferences. We store your consent choice for 12 months before asking again.

Your Rights Under UK GDPR

UK GDPR gives you clear rights over your personal data. You can exercise any of the rights listed below at any time.

  • Access: You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Deletion: You can ask us to delete your personal data from our records.
  • Correction: You can ask us to correct inaccurate data we hold about you.
  • Opt-out: You can withdraw consent for cookies or marketing at any time.
  • Portability: You can request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days, as required by UK GDPR.

Data Retention

We keep contact form data for a maximum of 12 months after your query is resolved. Analytics data is retained for 14 months inside Google Analytics, then deleted automatically. We do not retain affiliate tracking data on our own servers.

Security

We use HTTPS encryption across the entire site to protect data in transit. Our hosting provider applies server-level security measures. We review our security practices at least once per year.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy when our practices change. The date at the bottom of this page shows the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.

Contact and Complaints

For any data-related question, email [email protected]. If you are unhappy with our response, you can complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk. The ICO is the UK’s data protection regulator.
